Roger is a retired Fire Fighter, he retired after 32 years of service. Roger retired in 2001 and unfortunately suffered a stroke 3 months after his retirement. Roger owns a small dump truck company, with 18 trucks under his management which he says keeps him pretty busy.
Roger found cool rides while doing a search for classic cars. Roger has a nice set of wheels he owns this 1959 Corvette, a 1957 Chevy convertible and a 2010 Mustang convertible. “My 1959 corvette is a Duntov award winner for top flight restoration, lot of fun to drive and always gets a lot of looks. It is in A1 shape, just as it came from the factory”.
Roger attends several shows every year with his son and grand sons, “we always have a great time, quality time”. “Can not do much to either of my cars, both in great shape. I lowered my 57 about 4 inches, spindels were the big task”. Some of his great memories with the car is seeing the reactions of car guys when they see a great restoration, “it’s always fun to talk to car nuts”. ” I have always been a a ’57 Chevy fan, the soft tops are my favorite”. Roger keeps this beauties like new by storing them in his heated garage. His advice is to enjoy waxing and doing the general cleaning of your cars in order to maintain them as perfect as you want them. “After my stroke recovery I have been blessed with the ability to still be able to enjoy and drive my cars”.
“Thanks and Happy Motoring, Roger Ross”.
