Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Tim Osborne. I am 38 years old and a single parent with a GREAT 9 year old son who is my everything. I do a lot of work for the Make-A-Wish Foundation here in Ohio, as well as the Warrior Foundation.
How did you first get interested in this hobby/passion?
I got interested many years ago with the passion for all types of cars. I am a Ford man, but every car has its own way of getting my attention. New or old it doesn’t matter, I just enjoy cars and how they keep changing.
What Rides do you currently own?
Right now I own a 2001 Classic Design Concepts Mustang GT Vert
What do you like most about your current rides?
I love this car because of all the features they added to the look of the American Muscle car. From the lighted roll bar to the side exhaust, and from the sound of the over 450 HP engine to the overall design the Mustang has, it really is the complete package.
What is/are the fondest memories you have while owning your Cool Rides?
Any and all my fondest memories just come from going to shows. I love having people comment on how great my car looks, and ask if they can sit in it. I also love having my son go for rides with me in it from time to time; I enjoy seeing others stare… LOL
What was the first car you ever owned?
The 1st car I ever owned was a 1979 Ford Thunderbird, or as I called it, a TANK.
What is/was the BEST car ever made?
To me, the best car ever made would have to be a Mustang. Not because I have owned several, but the fact that after 45 years they have never stopped production on it like all the other car makers have done.
What is/was the WORST car ever made?
Worst car to me also has to be a Ford Pinto or the Chevy Chevette
How did you first hear about the Cool Rides Online website?
I learned about Cool Rides Online at a show I went to where I saw a decal on a car for the website. Also, Cool Rides has donated to some shows I have put on in the past and hope they can again next year.
Is there anything else you’d like the Cool Rides Online members to know about you?
More about me. Well I guess you can say I’m a Cancer survivor even though I have been fighting it for 21 years and have had over 800 surgeries. I wont let this Cancer get the best of me. I know it gets me down from time to time but I always pop right back up with the love and support of Family and Friends and as always, my son.
I would also like to have others check out our website with the shows we are doing in the 2012 season and invite all to come out to 1 of them: Cruisers for a Cure
