100_0989Tell us a little about yourself?

Hi, my name is Theodore, but my friends call me Teddy. I live in a small town in Wisconsin. I am a retired landscaper. I like gardening, love cars, boating and fishing. I have always enjoyed cars for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I helped my grandfather work on his 1932 Nash Lafayette. My first car was a 1965 Buick Special. I worked on the Buick for three years. On the weekends I would take it to the drag strip; recently had a 1948 Ford Coupe. It caught fire under the dash and the whole car filled up with smoke. Well I got the fire out, but there was a lot of damage. I got it fixed and sold it.  I really didn’t want to drive it after that. I bought this 1954 Chevy Bel-Air. I always liked Bel-Air’s and I got a ’54 because I was born in ’54.

How did you learn about Cool Rides OnLine?

I learn about Cool Rides Online through Sta-Bil® Fuel Stabilizer.

What cool rides do you currently own?

1954 Chevy Bel-Air

Now tell us a little about your favorite” cool ride” what makes it special?

My ’54 Chevy has a 1975 Chevy 350, edelbrock performer carb, MSD plug wires, retro air cleaner, air ride, foose wheels, magna flow exhaust, wilwood brakes, vintage air, frame off restoration and a killer paint job with a air brushed maltese cross painted on the hood.

What’s next for your cool ride? Planning additional work or maybe a special trip/cruise?

There is not much more I want to do to my Chevy. I would like to take it to Back to the 50’s show in MN.

What was the most difficult modification you’ve completed on any of your cool rides?

The most difficult modification would certainly be rebuilding the motor.

What’s your favorite memory involving your cool ride?

Winning my first Best in Show.

What is your dream car to own if money was not an issue?

I would love to have a 1932 Nash Lafayette just like my grandfather had.

Taking care of collector cars is not easy. Do you have any special tips on how to take care of your cool rides in and out of storage?

Make sure the oil is changed. When putting it into storage add Sta-Bil® Fuel Stabilizer, remove the battery and cover the car.

Is there anything else you’d like the members to know about you?

I am a car nut I love cars. My wife (Michelle) and I enjoy going to car shows and talking to other car nuts and meeting new people.
