Eugene Cottman’s 1981 Mini Mayfair
Representing Iso-HEET® Brand Fuel Treatments
I’ve owned my 1981 Mini Mayfair since late 2005 and purchased it in England. Since that time, I’ve stripped the cloth interior and replaced it with Aston Martin styled leather, repaneled most of the body and converted the engine from auto to manual while tripling the horsepower rating. I changed the wheels and tires from 12″ to 13″ and installed wider fender flares to give it that bulldog stance.
t’s been a daily driver for me and suffered 3 different accidents. It’s been repaired completely and then I decided to take it back to the US with me for everyone to see. The HP from the original engine was rated at 30BHP. Since then, I’ve installed an upgraded 95BHP engine to make some noise! The body was re-sprayed its original color to show others that they don’t need to change it up, just make it pop! Lastly, I’ve went beyond the original lighting and installed crystal headlamps and the monstrous 7″ fog lights with the French style tint in the middle to stand apart from the other Minis on the road!!
