I saw the truck parked at a restaurant with a small for sale sign 10 years ago. I have done 90% of the work on the truck, including paint, interior and rebuilt the Boss 302 motor. Power windows (one piece with wing windows removed), keyless entry, Pontiac Bonneville, leather power seats, bluetooth stereo, Cadillac tail lights, Plymouth Volare front suspension, hand carved mahogany dash with old style Stewart Warner gauges, matching mahogany banjo steering wheel.

After returning from an overseas deployment with the US Navy in 1969 my intension was to purchase a new Corvette. When I saw the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T I thought it was the coolest car I’d ever seen and had to buy it instead. That original Charger netted me a few monumental speeding tickets and my current wife who at the time loved the car more than me. As life happened, children, careers, homes, the charger was traded in for a more family friendly vehicle. We acquired the current Charger 6 years ago and I spent a year restoring it. Every component along with every nut and bolt was restored. It is an R/T 440, auto, A/C, P/S, P/b, dana rear car.
This Charger was originally red with tan interior but the first Charger was green with black and we wanted this one to be as close a match to the original one as possible. Cruising around in our Charger sure brings back great memorizes of our younger years and puts a smile on my face. Hope you enjoy the picture.

2008 George had a Heart Transplant. During recovery at home, he wanted to get back to his car.. It was in primer and mostly apart. He knew where he was going with the design, so he started putting it back together. Great therapy!
Eight months after Transplant he got sick. The car was put on hold again.George had brain lesions in his brain, and lost all of his memory.
After a month in intensive care, I was able to take him home. During his recovery, getting his memory back, I would take him out to the garage and we would look at the car and he would touch it and he wondered if he would be able to work on it again and finish it. He went out in the garage every day to work on the car. We turned on the oldies music and his memory was getting better everyday. He and I painted the car too. George finished the car in May of 2013. He is an amazing man. We won Classic of The Year 2013, by Hagerty Insurance, plus our story. They interviewed us and made a video. We call the ’37 Chevy Master Deluxe ‘The Beast’. It has a 650 hp Big Block chevy, 468. Air-Ride, Gear vendors under-overdrive, custom hood, and other custom features.
George is a miracle. He is now enjoying the fruits of his labor… We are blessed. We go to car shows and drive that Beast and have fun… Thank You, Donna

Abigail is my ’53 Chevy (Belair) 210 3 Door Sedan. She has cool original look and paint scheme. 58,600 original miles on her 235 Blue Flame Stovebolt straight 6 with 3 on the tree. No Power brakes or steering, just a period Vintage Air A/C under dash added this spring. She’s a one owner, small town SC barn kept beauty that put on less than 1000 miles a year for 60 years. Now she resides with me in Houston Texas. A real Southern Gal !!!!
Repainted to original Chevy India Ivory and Saddle Brown two-tone. She makes a statement at any Car Show or Meet I attend. Complemented with a new period correct Peanut Butter interior and Headliner, a matching two-tone dash and chrome package makes her look like she just drove off the Dealer’s lot. Top it off with new BFG 3 inch Gangster WW 670/15 Bias Ply tires and you have a trip back to the 50’s ready to Cruise on a Sunday afternoon down to the lake.
My best friend and some say my “Sole Mate” that I searched for over 40 years since HS. A great vehicle. I’m proud to own and show her.
