Tom Moore’s 1951 Hudson Hornet

Representing the STA-BIL® Brand Fuel Treatments

Tom Moore 1951 Hudson Hornet

I have owned this car for 18 years. I wanted to put an all Mopar drivetrain in it (500 cid 440 EFI engine, 727 auto w/gear vendors od/ud unit, 3.91 8 3/4 posi). The car was under construction then stalled.

After sitting for a few years, my daughter Taylor decided I needed help completing the ’51 so she sent in an application to Search-Restore on Powerblock TV.

To our surprise, Tim Strange and his crew from the show showed up at our door to pick up our 1951 Hudson Hornet to restore! The crew of over 40 people built this car in 20 days!

They chopped the top 2″ in the front 2 1/2″ in the back, retaining the 1951 only original back window, louvered hood,5 5 olds headlites, shaved handles, modified rear wheelwells, smoothed body+rounded body panels, 39 linclon zephyr tail lites. The front bumper was peaked+smoothed while rear bumper was welded into one piece w/55 chevy bumper guards. AirRide E-PRO system, Fatman MustangII front suspension connected to a chrome Ididit column w/58 impala steering wheel.  There isn’t enough room to list it all…

Gary and Deb Gorman 1942 Chevy Truck

We worked this truck hard for 25 years towing and hauling. Racing has always been a part of it’s life. Brought from 14:50’s to 12:20’s quarter-mile ET’s in weight reduction alone. Has been retired from it’s work life the past five years (have owned it 30 years altogether).

It is now a street cruiser at low 11 second ET’s with a 496 cu in motor with 2-500 cfm-afb carbs, 350 turbo and 411 gear. Can be seen on you tube – Gary Gorman’s Rat Rod or Facebook – “Stormin’ Gorman” “The War Horse” has been featured in “Renegade Magazine” and “Chops Magazine”.

It is currently being filmed for TV with George Denson’s “Hot Rods, Customs and Classics”. It has 23 straight round wins in a row at “New Smyrna Speedway” Vintage Arm Drop Drags in Florida. Had it’s first race ever at the famous “US 30 Dragstrip” in Indiana, also raced “Byron Dragway” in Illinois, “Union Grove” Wisconsin. Has been driven to and raced at”Atco Dragstrip” New Jersey. Representing Start Your Engines!® Fuel System Revitalizer

300-Chris Weldon 2012 Polaris Victory Cross Country Tour

I traded my Harley in and got my Victory this last Sept. It was white and already was suffering from rock chips. My Harley was customized, by me, and so I dove in and got started customizing this one too!

It stands out in a crowd and is very ride-able. No trailer queen or garage queen bike here!!!

Spray it down, wipe the chrome and back on the road. It is my daily ride…year round as long as the ice is not around!
