Ted MacHugo’s 1954 Chevy Bel-Air

Representing the STA-BIL® Brand Fuel Treatments

Stabil-TedMacHugo_1954ChevyBelAirHi, my name is Theodore, but my friends call me Teddy. I live in a small town in Wisconsin. I am a retired landscaper. I like gardening, love cars, boating and fishing. I have always enjoyed cars for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I helped my grandfather work on his 1932 Nash Lafayette. My first car was a 1965 Buick Special. I worked on the Buick for three years. On the weekends I would take it to the drag strip; recently had a 1948 Ford Coupe. It caught fire under the dash and the whole car filled up with smoke. Well I got the fire out, but there was a lot of damage. I got it fixed and sold it.  I really didn’t want to drive it after that. I bought this 1954 Chevy Bel-Air. I always liked Bel-Air’s and I got a ’54 because I was born in 1954.

Frederick Chaffee’s 1950 Mercury “Mercamino”

Representing 104+ Octane Boost

104-FrederickChaffee_MercMy ride is a 1950 Mercury four door with a few nip and tucks here and there. It was the concept of Dave Farley of Conn, who had passed away from cancer. I saw what he had in mind, so I purchased it from the estate. I then took it to a friend, Gordon Hathaway of Charlemont, where he spent a couple of years to get it where it is today. It was completely stripped, soda blasted, front cut off and lowered.

There was plenty of reworking to the body panels and welding. I have pre and post build pictures. It was a select six for the Winfield award last year. Boston super wheel showdown entry. It has won several best of shows and peoples choice. It has a 1983  El Camino bed partial roof, window and tail gate put inside with a custom dash from a 1960 Chevy, cube van radius, and the Mercury. I have plenty of more info if needed.  Thanks. Fred

Gary Backe’s 1966 Chevy C-20

Representing Iso-HEET® Brand Fuel Treatments

Heet-GaryBacke_1966ChevyC20This truck was purchased brand new by my grandfather from Felix Chevrolet in Los Angeles. I have owned it for the last 10 years. It has the original 327 cu in engine and came from the factory with air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. I have upgraded it with a turbo 700R4 transmission, under bed fuel cell, 4 way air bag system, 20″ rims, 1200 watt Infinity stereo system, power windows and full power 2002 Silverado seats. I finally topped it off with a custom Harbor service body (and yes it is a daily driver that I work out of).

Jim Boyd’s 1966 Ford Mustang

Representing Start Your Engines!® Fuel System Revitalizer

SYE-JimBoyd_1966FordMustangThis is our ’66 Mustang couple that we have owned since ’99.  It is a metallic silver much like the original color.  She still has her 289 in her.  It has been completely restored with everything having been redone.  She has a sweet wet of mellow pipes that we love to hear rap.

We attend many car shows up north here, and have won many trophies from Peoples’ Choice, Best in Show, Best in Class, and Best Paint.  Can’t wait for summer to get back to the car shows once again.
