1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Headed to Texas

By Jay Church

I’m 36 years old from Brevard County FL.  I have been in the custom car scene all my life riding to elementary school in a 1929 T Bucket or to graduating high school with a Mustang with Hydraulics.  I have had two custom trucks that graced the cover of Street Trucks Magazine along with a hand full of custom bikes that have been featured in national publication.

I first learned of Cool Rides through Facebook. Currently I own a fully restored 1965 Cadillac Coupe Deville.

My car LOLAC was a one-owner car from Wisconsin that I got in March of 2016. The car was bagged by Avenue Classics in West Palm. The Crew at 5 Star Service center took the car to bare metal and laid down the killer pearl white paint and the House of Kolor violet pearl paint on the roof.  The car was fitted with Coker white walls and the interior was totally redone by Seats By Tommy.  Next I am taking the car to Texas for LST in 2017. My best memory with my cool ride has been taking my kids for rides in the car.

When it comes to modifications, the most difficult thing was replacing the trim pieces. I care for my car by keeping it in a garage and waxing it every month.

Besides my Cadillac, my dream car is a 1929 rat rod or a 1960 Bel air 2-door
