Danny Koker is one of those individuals who has managed to make a living doing what he loves. The son of a Ford Company executive, Danny is a self-taught mechanic who started collecting bikes and custom cars with his dad. After a youth spent as a gospel singer, television producer and host of a television show on his family’s television channel that showed old horror movies, Danny finally opened his custom car shop in Las Vegas, Count’s Kustoms. The name of the shop comes from Danny’s nickname, the Count, based on his character, Count Cool Rider, which he played on his television show in the Las Vegas area. His appearances as an expert on “Pawn Stars” led to his own television show “Counting Cars” which started in 2012 on the History Channel. Danny’s nine-man custom shop is featured updating and customizing bikes and cars. Danny prefers older models. You won’t see many cars built after 1970 in his shop. In the short time since his shop opened, Count’s Kustoms has become so well-known that it receives vehicles from all over the world.
