Christmas is here, y’all! It’s a great time for eating delicious food and enjoying all the festivities. I’m excited because my fiancée, Tammy, is having a white elephant party this year. Everyone is supposed to wrap and bring one item that they don’t want with the purpose of exchanging it with someone else. So, Tammy is bringing the life-size cardboard cutout of ME that’s been sitting around our house because she just can’t take it anymore! It’s gonna be a blast!
I’m hoping for a few things this year myself. Nothing too big, but a new cam shaft for my racing lawn mower might be nice. I’m feeling hungry this year too, so i’m hoping for a Gift Certificate for dinner at the Cleveland Hotel (haha!) in London. Since traveling over to the UK every time I need to eat might be rough, I’d also love one of these giant grills i’ve been seeing – I know they are a joke, but man would it help me out when it’s time to prepare a meal for everyone down here in Locust Grove!
Christmas is also a wonderful time of giving, and I love finding presents to my loved ones! I don’t want to say too much and away any surprises before they get the chance to open ’em, so you’ll have to check back to see what i’m up to. 🙂
However, I can give you ALL a few tips if you’re looking for some last minute stocking stuffers! During this busy season, it’s easy to forget to take care of our outdoor power equipment, which you’ll regret in the spring… so while you’re buying the typical gifts like candy, mugs, and toys for your family’s stockings, I have a few ideas:
- Give some 303® Fabric Guard to anyone who loves the furniture they keep outside so they can enjoy it when it gets warm. It can also be applied to fabric boots to make them less susceptible to dirt, moisture, and salty-snow!
- Gift a bottle of 303® Aerospace Protectant to any poor souls who have to shovel snow. The Aerospace Protectant can be applied to their shovels so that the snow doesn’t stick and they won’t break their backs shoveling!
- Give Iso-HEET® to anyone storing vehicles for the winter so they can get rid of any water that’s in their tank and clean their fuel system.
This has been a friendly reminder from your Engine Answerman to protect the things you love this holiday season!
Merry Christmas y’all!
