What a time we had at the largest classic car show of the Northeast, the 2014 Syracuse Nationals, which this year was off to the races once again with record breaking attendance.
Our EAM truck was staged by the main entrance and the main stage, which allowed for maximum exposure to not only the people who entered their vehicles in the show, but to the thousands of spectators who came out to see them!
This was the last event appearance for our 71’ Car Fix Custom Camaro, and our team of Brand Ambassadors did an outstanding job of interacting with consumers to engage awareness of the contest and to register on our iPads. We had a steady follow of spectators signing up either at the iPads, QR code on the wheel display, or via the hand-out cards.
On Friday, I spoke as part of the Tech Seminar Series on 303™ Products and on Saturday, I gave a presentation on Proper Fuel Management. The interaction and high level of interest with those in the audience was on target.
Our discussions with attendees focused on ethanol and the problems that occur. We offered several solutions, such as using STA-BIL Protection on a regular fill up schedule and STA-BIL 360 for storage/regular fill up. Having car and motorcycle gas tank cutaways avaialable for viewing (and the rusty carburetor out) definitely helped to get our message across about proper fuel management – if you haven’t seen our setup, stop by on an upcoming tour stop and check it out!
The Syracuse Nationals continues to get better each year, and I am proud to be a part of it.
