Please tell us a little bit about yourself:
I’m a 54 year old married man who’s retired and a disabled Veteran. I have a spinal disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. I’m married to the most perfect woman in the world we’ve been together for over 30 years. I worked for years in the automotive industry. I started in tires which led to Auto Body automotive repair. When my back got too bad to work I just went back to school and got all my certifications for Microsoft and became a Microsoft certified systems Engineer. I did that for 10 years and then I retired. I started my Mustang project when I stopped working to give me something to do during the day. I ended up spending so much time doing it that I finished the job in four months. Once I got started I couldn’t stop.
How did you first learn about Cool Rides Online?
A friend shared your link with me on Facebook.
What Cool Rides do you currently own?
I own the coolest 1966 Mustang Coupe on the planet. I also own a 1977 Fiat Spider that I’m doing a project converting over to a Ferrari 250 California Special.
Now tell us a little about your favorite “Cool Ride”; what makes it special?
When I drive up and do a car show with my Mustang and every head turns and people start nodding it’s a great feeling.
What’s next for your Cool Ride? Planning additional work for it or maybe a special trip/cruise?
My next project for my Mustang is to put Mustang 2 suspension on it.
What’s your favorite memory involving your Cool Ride?
I guess the best moment was when I won my first Best of Show. Actually, I think the best moment was when I fired the motor up for that first time open headers and did the break and for the engine and just that loud roar.
What was the most difficult modification you’ve completed on any of your Cool Rides?
I can’t say that I’ve had any real difficulties doing any modifications on any of my cars I’ve never done anything that crazy.
What is your dream car to own if money was not an issue?
1969 Boss 429 Mustang.
Is there anything else you’d like the Cool Rides Online members to know about you?
Cars are in my blood— I’ll probably do cars until the day I die.
