Beginning March 26, 2014, Georgia will be home to the latest Atlanta International Auto Show. It will be held in the Georgia World Congress Center. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children over 5. Throughout the time, there will be numerous activities including the “Cadillac Ultimate Auto Show Experience” and “Camp Jeep.” On display will be Hyundai’s “The Walking Dead” zombie survival machine, an Elantra crafted to resemble a zombie response vehicle. However, the most important part of the show is the 400 cars that will be on display. Here is a look at some of the vehicles that will dominate the event.
BMW i3 EV
The latest vehicle from BMW is an electric design. It has an extremely small footprint but manages to offer a comfortable and roomy interior. The maximum range will be 125 miles on electricity. It has a very unique exterior that is crafted from aluminum and carbon fiber. One-quarter of the interior materials are made from recycled or renewable materials. Even though the car is environmentally responsible, it offers a number of optional technologies including park assist, adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist. This vehicle will cost approximately $42,000.
2015 Chevrolet Colorado
Chevy developed a nice looking truck as the 2015 Colorado. Most people will love the mid sized design. It is a definite step up from the generic look of the older S-10 models. Inside, the MyLink System is very useful, especially the fully functional Pandora app. This allows a driver to take a favorite artist along for the ride. The best part is that the seating is extremely simple to enter and exit. The V6 version has a 3.6 liter engine that can haul up to 6,700 pounds.
2015 Cadillac Escalade
The fourth generation Escalade is set to be released to the public in April. However, people can get an early glimpse in Atlanta. The newest developments involve impressive interior redesigns. It includes a touch sensitive CUE system and 12.3 inch customizable gauge screen display. Under the hood, the vehicle will have the newest 6.2 liter V8 block engine, which produces 420 horsepower. Price details have not been released, but it is expected to start around $65,000.
The above vehicles are just a few of the exciting displays at the Atlanta International Auto Show. Everyone is welcome to test drive some of the hottest vehicles available with no hassle, pressure or fees. For a great time, any auto enthusiast should consider attending. Factory and dealer representatives will be on hand to answer all questions.
