Coastal Virginia Auto Show

Back in January 2016, CRO Champ Curt Kimmel attended a car show in Hampton, Virginia. During that show, he entered a contest with a local radio station and won free registration to the Coastal Virginia Auto Show in November. During the following nine months he was in contact with both show and radio officials making arrangements to attend. Champ Curt also contacted his friend in the area and invited him to attend the show with him.

Curt drove down to Virginia from Delaware to place his 2001 PT Cruiser in the Virginia Beach Convention Center for the weekend. He met his friend in the parking lot and they both went in together so they could park next to each other. Once the car was parked, it was time to start cleaning it up. Good thing Curt 303® Products to do the job. All the exterior paint was polished and the interior got protected. The Cruiser was ready to show!

The show opened up at 10:00 AM each morning – there were 280 cars, trucks, motorcycles, and bikes parked inside. Most were there for the show but others were there to sell at the Auto Auction on Saturday. As an added treat, some celebrity cars showed up: the “Batmobile from the 1960’s TV show, the “General Lee” from “The Dukes of Hazzard”, and K.I.T.T., the Firebird from “Knight Rider”. There were also a lot of beautiful hot rods, classics, antiques, and exotics attending.
While checking out all the great vehicles, Curt provided some of the attendees with samples of the Aerospace Protectant and his business card with instructions on “How to Join the Club”. After it was all over, Kimmel walked away with a Trophy from the “Domestic Modern” division.
This was a nice show. There were lots of cars to look at and enjoy. There were opportunities to meet new people and make friends, and a chance for the people in Virginia to hear about Cool Rides Online and to try 303® Aerospace Protectant.
