Gold Eagle set to attend 40th Iola Old Car Show this weekend

This weekend, the Iola Old Car Show and Swap Meet celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special salute to Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Plymouth and Mercury vehicles. As previously announced, Gold Eagle will be onhand for the event, which runs from July 12 to July 15.

In particular, we’ll be contributing to the “Teamed to Learn” education tent, which was started in 2008 as a way for attendees to learn more about car restoration and automobile history while enjoying the event’s other attractions.

Attendees who want to view our special presentation, “Understanding the Effects of Today’s Fuels in Your Engines,” can come to the education tent, which is located west of the tower and activity center. Matt Banach, one of our sales representatives, will be at the event to give the presentation.

Banach says the presentation will be about 40 minutes long, with additional Q&A time being provided at the end for audience members who want to learn more about how our line of products can help them best protect their small engines.

Gold Eagle’s presentations will take place across all four days of the event, with times varying. On Thursday, presentations will begin at 10:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m, while Friday’s schedule includes presentations at 8:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. For the weekend, festival attendees can catch the show at 9:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and an additional show at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

In addition, Banach says he’ll be handing out special rebate certificates good on all Gold Eagle products, giving added incentive for festival attendees to hear his beneficial presentation.

Those who want to attend the Wisconsin event can still make the trip. Daily admission is $8 and weekend passes are $15, making it an affordable venture for those who can resist the urge to purchase a particularly pricey classic car while they’re at the gathering.
