I just got done spending a few days at AIM Expo, a huge trade and consumer motorcycle show down in Orlando, and wow was this event ever revving with excitement! They call themselves “The Show That Is Changing The Powersports Industry” and i’m not sure I can disagree!
This was the 2nd Annual AIM Expo, and my second year going. We knew ahead of time it was going to be big, as the event boasted more than 500 exhibitors and vendors… and as an extra little bonus for the bike lovers, Biketoberfest was up and running just an hour or so north in in Daytona Beach as well!
The Expo itself isn’t about just motorcycles though – as I explored I found all sorts of amazing vehicles and toys coming from a really innovative power sports industry that’s going to play a bigger and bigger role in the work me and my team do informing consumers about fuel management!
The first 2 days we spent mostly meeting dealers, who I always love catching up with because they are often the first to hear from consumers when engine and fuel issues happen! Many of them were interested in learning more about STA-BIL’s Power Sports line, which is aimed to help protect and enhance the performance of sport vehicles, motorcycles and more. It’s great for these guys who’re maintaining lots of smaller tanks, because it’s easy to carry and will treat up to 7 gallons.
The next two days of the Expo were focused on engaging the consumer audience, and that’s when my Engine Answerman team really kicked in to high gear – questions about proper fuel management were again in abundance, but the average bike owner also spends a lot of time thinking about how the vehicle looks, and that’s where the samples come in! As always, having 303 Aerospace to send home with people I meet serves as an amazing way to make new friends out on the road! I hope you’ll come find me at one of my future Engine Answerman Tour Stops so I can give you one too. 🙂
It wasn’t ALL work while I was there, though. As usual, I left my team in charge of the booth for a little while and snapped some photos of some of the cool stuff I saw. Check ’em out!
Overall, it was a great week in Orlando, and I can’t wait to return to The Sunshine State again soon!
